AlmAmericas: An Open Door Between Worlds
Our mission, our origin, and the heartbeat that drives us
Some projects are born out of necessity. Others, out of opportunity.
But some—the most sincere, the most humane—
They are born from a deep inner conviction:
the certainty that trade can be a bridge, not a border.
This is how AlmAméricas was born.
-Who are we?
AlmAméricas is a brand created to honor the soul of Latin America and share it with Spain in an authentic, fair and humane way.
Behind the name lies a clear vision:
to bring products with a story, created by hands that work with dignity,
and share them with people who value quality, culture, and purpose.
We are a young company with deep roots.
A company built from the heart, with the intention of transforming the way we understand commerce, craftsmanship, and human connection.
What do we bring into the world?
At AlmAméricas you will find products born from tradition, craftsmanship and a love for the land:
☕ Colombian specialty coffee
Grains carefully grown in the mountains of Cundinamarca, Colombia, hand-selected and roasted by producers who honor inherited techniques.
Coffee with scores above 80 SCA points , which tell stories in every sip.
🍫 Handmade cocoa and chocolate
Small batches created with care, respecting the origin, the process and the social impact on cocoa-growing communities.
🧵 Authentic handicrafts
Wayuu bags , textile pieces and handicrafts that reflect a living cultural identity.
Each piece is work, tradition and resistance transformed into art.

🌍 Where do our products come from?
From communities full of life, knowledge, and pride:
-
The mountains of Colombia , where coffee is more than a crop; it's a family legacy.
-
La Guajira , home of the Wayuu people, where weaving is a sacred act and bags become portable stories.
-
Small artisan regions where creativity is a way of connecting with the land.
We don't work with factories.
We don't work with massive chains.
We work with people .
People who deserve justice, visibility and dignified treatment.
-Looking to the future
AlmAméricas is not a static project.
It is a bridge that will grow over time.
Next phases:
-
Expansion into bean-to-bar cocoa and derivative products.
-
Launch of the AlmAmericas Impact Division , to support causes and organizations through special edition products.
-
Partnerships with artisans from more Latin American regions , creating a diverse cultural network.
-
A physical space in Asturias , where the experience is as important as the product itself.
-
Collaborations with cafes, boutiques and local markets , generating community from the local to the global.
Our growth will always be sustainable, humane, and conscious .
-Why are we doing this?
Because there is something profoundly beautiful about the connection between people who have never met, but who come together through an honest product.
Because we believe in trade as a transformative force —
a way to support those who produce, to educate those who consume,
and to show that everyday objects can have a soul.
Because Latin American culture deserves to be celebrated, not simplified. Honored, not exploited. Shared, not appropriated. And because every cup of coffee, every Wayuu bag, every handcrafted piece is an opportunity to tell the world:
“Beauty and dignity can go hand in hand.”
Who's behind the wheel?
AlmAméricas is led by Bradley Peter Ellis, a founder with deep roots in respect, empathy, and a desire to create a real impact.
This project stems from his personal experience, his cultural sensitivity, and his firm belief that work done well, aligned with authentic values, can transform lives — both there and here.
It is not a company created in haste.
It is a company created with a purpose.
